Messages from families
Parents write to the club about their child straight from the family portal, and coaches and managers reply — no calls or personal messengers.
Für: Trainer, Manager, Inhaber
Parents can write to the club about their child from the family portal using Write to the club on the child's page. It isn't a group chat: each child has one conversation, shared by all of the child's parents. You reply in the same place, and the parents see who from the club answered.
Who sees and replies
The coaches of the child's teams, plus managers, support and the owner. Coaches of other teams don't see the conversation.
Where to read
- Messages in the club menu — everything with families in one place: the conversations plus sent announcements and mailings as cards, in time order, newest first, unread highlighted. Coaches search by the child's name and see their groups' announcements and the club-wide ones. Tabs at the top — All, Conversations, Announcements, Mailings (managers and above) and Staff — with the unread count. Filters: for managers and above, group, coach, who replied (for announcements: who wrote it), unread or unanswered only (conversations only then).
- + New at the top: Announcement (to a group's families or the whole club) or, for managers and above, Mailing (families picked by filters). Once sent, you're back here.
- An announcement's card opens the full text, "Read by N of M" (tap for who exactly) and the families' replies to it, each linking to its conversation.
- The Messages tab on the player's card — the same conversation.
- Today shows a "New messages from families" line.
Once you open a conversation it counts as read for the whole club, and the parents see "Read". If parents replied to an announcement, its title shows above their message.
Conversations with colleagues
+ New → Message a colleague: pick one colleague and your work conversation with them opens (one per pair, whoever starts it), just like with families: read marks, translation into the colleague's language, and the notification "A colleague wrote to you in Messages" with the same quiet hours. They live in the Staff tab; Today shows "Colleagues wrote to you".
Who sees them. Coaches and managers: only their own. Support: their own and every conversation a manager takes part in. The owner: all of them, with the Person and Role filters in Staff. Anyone who sees someone else's conversation can only read it — only its two participants write. A quiet line in the conversation says so: "Work conversations are visible to the club owner".
Message to staff (managers and above): + New → Message to staff, a short note to everyone or to group coaches; sent ones show as cards with "Read by N of M".
When a colleague leaves the club, the conversation stays readable for 90 more days and is then deleted.
Notifications and quiet hours
A new message sends a notification to the bell, push and Telegram, depending on your notification settings ("A family wrote in Messages"). Until someone opens the conversation, further messages in it don't notify again.
During the club's quiet hours (21:00–08:00 by default) messages appear straight away, but push and Telegram wait until the quiet hours end. Coaches get no pushes while running a session — just one "N new messages from families" notification afterwards.
Settings
Club settings → General → Families: Messages from families (on by default) and Quiet hours. If you turn it off, parents can no longer write; existing conversations stay with you to read.
