Stanio Sport

Set up your youth football tournament in minutes Beta

Entries, fixtures, scores and the knockout bracket in one place, for football and futsal. Families follow it live on their phones from a QR code, with nothing to install.

Not just for kids, either: it works just as well for veterans’ tournaments, company cups or a five-a-side with friends.

Free during the beta, no card needed. No more spreadsheets and photos of the table in the group chat.

How it works

  1. Create the tournament

A five-step wizard: name, dates and venue, age groups and format (league, groups + knockout, or straight knockout).

  2. Paste the teams

Copy the list from an email or a spreadsheet, one team per line, or open online entries. Groups are drawn up for you and the fixtures appear straight away.

  3. Enter the scores

Referees on their phones at the pitch; you or your helpers from the dashboard. Standings and the bracket fill in by themselves.

  4. Share the public page

A link and a QR code to print and put up at the entrance. Anyone who scans it sees the tournament at once.

What families see

A tournament page made for the phone, at the side of the pitch:

  • Scores as they happen: the live score of games in progress and every final result as soon as it’s entered; the page refreshes itself every minute.
  • “My team”: they pick their team and see just its games, its row in the table and its path through the bracket.
  • Games by day and time, with the pitch, a “Live” or “Full time” label and a filter by pitch.
  • Group tables and a proper knockout bracket: while the groups are still playing it shows who’s on top, marked provisional, and fills in round by round up to the winner.
  • Nothing to download, no sign-up: a link or a QR code is all it takes.
  • In Spanish, Catalan, English or Ukrainian, following the phone’s language.

Tie-breakers done right

The most common complaint at a tournament is a table that’s worked out wrong. Here every rule is applied the way you set it:

  • Points your way: 3-1-0, 2-1-0 or whatever your rules say.
  • Tie-breakers in the order you choose: head-to-head (with a mini-table among the tied teams), goal difference, goals scored, wins, fair play.
  • Still level? A drawing of lots: the table marks the teams as tied and asks you to hold it, instead of deciding on its own.
  • Every position shows which rule decided it, so nobody has to argue it out in the stands.

Online entries and fees

Teams sign up themselves from the tournament page; all you do is decide.

  • A form with no account needed: team, club and contact. Places per age group, a closing date and a waiting list once it’s full.
  • Accept, waitlist or decline in one click; an accepted team goes straight into its age group and the coach gets an email in their language.
  • An entry fee per age group: paid in full, a deposit, or paid to you directly. Record bank transfers and cash, see who still owes what and export it to Excel.
  • Online payment by card, Google Pay or Apple Pay through Stripe, straight into your account: the place is held for 48 hours while they pay, and if one frees up, the first team on the waiting list gets the payment link.
  • Decline an entry that’s already paid and the money goes back automatically. During the beta Stanio takes no commission — only Stripe’s own fee applies.

On tournament day

Referees at the pitch

A link or a PIN for each referee or pitch: they enter goals on their phone, with no account, even when the signal drops — it all goes through once it’s back. Several can cover the same game (if they disagree, you decide), and every game shows who entered what, and when.

Pitches and an automatic schedule

Add your pitches with their size and each day’s hours, lunch break included: the schedule builds itself, with the rest you set between a team’s games and every age group on the right size of pitch. Move a game and it tells you what that breaks.

TV mode

Put the page up on a TV or projector in the clubhouse: games in progress with the score, what’s next on each pitch and the tables, cycling by themselves.

Ready to print

Schedules by pitch and by age group, a sheet per team for the changing room and match cards with the referee’s QR code, all on A4.

Questions and answers

Do families need an app?

No. The tournament page opens in the phone’s browser from a link or the QR code. There is nothing to download and no sign-up.

How many teams can I have?

Up to 20 age groups per tournament and up to 128 teams in each, as a league, groups + knockout or a straight knockout, with one or two rounds of games. It works for 7-a-side, 11-a-side and futsal: each age group plays on pitches of its size. It also works for basketball, handball, volleyball and hockey, each with its own rules: 1-, 2- and 3-point baskets, sets, quarters, and no draws where the sport has none.

How much does it cost?

Nothing until 31 March 2027: organizing tournaments and collecting entry fees online is free and we don’t ask for a card; only Stripe’s own fee applies. From 1 April 2027 up to 8 teams stays free, bigger tournaments cost €29 (Pro) or €79 (Max), and Stanio keeps a small share of each online payment: 1.2% (at most €2), less if your club is on a paid plan. Every detail is on the prices page.

Can I copy last year’s tournament?

Yes. “Duplicate” copies the rules, the age groups and, if you like, the teams with their contacts. Change the dates and generate the new fixtures.

Which languages?

The public page, the entry form and the referee page are in Spanish, Catalan, English and Ukrainian. The organizer’s dashboard is in these and several more languages.

What if my club already uses Stanio Sport?

You sign in with the same account. The tournament lives in its own space, “My tournaments”, apart from the club: players, fees and families’ details don’t mix.

And there’s more: everything for your club’s day-to-day

Timetable, attendance, fees and a parent portal in the same system. Free up to 50 athletes.
